Statement from Autos Drive America on US-EU Framework Agreement

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Jennifer Safavian, President and CEO of Autos Drive America, today released the following statement in response to the Joint Statement on a Trade Framework Agreement released by the Trump administration and the European Union:

“As international automakers continue to lead the growth of the U.S. auto industry, producing nearly half of all vehicles in the U.S, we are pleased to see progress as the U.S. and EU work to finalize an agreement that will benefit American consumers. We look forward to seeing further details of the agreement and encourage similar progress with other trading partners, including South Korea, Japan, Canada and Mexico.”
