Since putting roots down in Alabama in 1993, more than $12 million has been donated to the local North Alabama community, with a specific focus on families and the betterment of the region.

Mercedes-Benz Donates $500,000 to Support American Red Cross Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

Mercedes-Benz entities in the United States announced a donation of $500,000 to the American Red Cross to support disaster relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene. The contribution underscores a steadfast commitment from Mercedes-Benz to positively impact communities where U.S. facilities and operations are located and where employees, dealers and customers live and work.

The funds will help the American Red Cross provide essential services such as shelter, food and emergency assistance to individuals and families across the Southeast affected by Hurricane Helene. Support from Mercedes-Benz will help the disaster relief organization remain focused on meeting the urgent needs of Hurricane Helene victims and help facilitate long-term recovery.

2024 Run for the Wall Event

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International (MBUSI) team members greeted and cheered on hundreds of motorcyclists who traveled on the Southern Route of the 2024 Run for the Wall (RFTW) event. RFTW is an organized cross-country motorcycle ride to honor U.S. veterans, their families, and friends, and is designed to raise awareness of the service men and women who have not returned home are designed as either Prisoners of War or Missing in Action.

Habitat for Humanity

Over the last 10 years, Mercedes Benz U.S. International has partnered with Tuscaloosa Habitat for Humanity and Greater Birmingham Habitat for Humanity to build houses for those who have been effected by severe tragedy, whether a car wreck or a tornado.  For 6 weeks every year, MBUSI team members take time out of their schedule to build a house with the same attention to quality and efficiency we put into our cars.
