Weeks after a fire destroyed the Lincoln Food Pantry in Alabama, Honda committed $25,000 to support the organization’s recovery and rebuilding efforts.
The Lincoln Food Pantry, which serves up to 1,000 people each month across the region, has been a critical resource for addressing food insecurity in Lincoln and the broader Talladega County area for more than 15 years.
“We are honestly blown away by this $25,000 contribution from Honda. After the fire, we were trying to figure out how to piece things back together, and this donation is exactly the miracle we needed to get our equipment replaced and our pantry back up and running,” said Brandon Tate, director of the Lincoln Food Pantry. “Honda has always been a great neighbor, but this really shows how much they care about the people here in Lincoln. We’re so grateful to have them in our corner as we get back on our feet.”
