Subaru of Indiana Automotive first broke ground in 1987 and has invested $2.2 billion in the state of Indiana. The plant currently employees over 6,000 American employees and has the production capacity to build 32,956 vehicles each month. The Subaru Ascent, Impreza, Legacy, and Outback are all made at the Indiana plant.
