WASHINGTON, D.C. – Autos Drive America hosted its first Board Meeting of the year on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss the evolving policy landscape for international automakers operating in the U.S. Speakers at the meeting included Stephen Moore, Senior Fellow at the Heritage Foundation and the America First Policy Institute and a co-founder of The Committee to Unleash Prosperity, and His Excellency Esteban Moctezuma Barragan, Ambassador of Mexico to the United States.

With a new administration and Congress, Autos Drive America emphasized the importance of strengthening the U.S. auto industry through collaboration between policymakers to drive economic growth, innovation, and investment in U.S. manufacturing.

The Board meeting hosted executives from Autos Drive America’s 12 member companies and focused on Autos Drive America’s 2025 legislative priorities, which includes securing supply chains and leveraging trade to unlock growth, supporting workforce development, maintaining a stable North American trade framework through the USMCA, extending pro-growth tax policies to support U.S. manufacturing, and encouraging innovation in the automotive industry.

Autos Drive America also announced its 2025 Board of Directors, who will guide the association’s advocacy efforts and policy direction in the year ahead.
