Autos Drive America Applauds House Passage of Permitting Reform Bills

WASHINGTON – Autos Drive America today released the following statement:

Autos Drive America applauds last week’s passage of three permitting reform bills: H.R. 3628, H.R. 3638, and H.R. 3898. This is a positive step toward creating a modern permitting process that will allow the United States to build out energy infrastructure, secure access to domestic critical minerals, and make necessary upgrades to the grid while protecting our nation’s natural resources. We are grateful to House leadership for prioritizing these bills and hope to see similar progress for other critical permitting reform legislation currently under consideration, such as the SPEED Act.
