Nissan Marks 10 Year Anniversary of First U.S. LEAF Delivery

The new 2019 Nissan LEAF e+ has a 62 kWh battery pack and an EPA-estimated range of up to 226 miles. Sales in the U.S. are expected to begin in spring 2019.

Today, Nissan celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the first U.S. delivery of the all-electric LEAF, the vehicle that helped pave the way for EV adoption around the globe. The Nissan LEAF changed the way the world looks at EVs. Launching the first mass-market EV in 2010 was a gamble, but Nissan was – and remains – committed to EVs, with LEAF sales recently reaching 500,000 globally.
