Statement from Autos Drive America on Trump Administration’s Announced Trade Deal with South Korea

Jennifer Safavian, President and CEO of Autos Drive America, today released the following statement in response to the Trump administration’s announcement of a trade deal with South Korea:

“Autos Drive America has urged the Trump Administration to reach long-lasting trade agreements with our closest allies and partners, and we are pleased that both nations were able to find common ground ahead of the August 1^st deadline.

“We look forward to seeing the details of this agreement in the coming days and again call upon the Trump administration to finalize trade deals with Mexico and Canada in order to create a stable and forward-facing trade environment for international automakers in the U.S.”
