“In an increasingly competitive marketplace, automakers and suppliers share a collaborative relationship that is critical to meet the needs of their operations and to provide consumers with vehicles that are equipped with the most advanced technologies. The recent shortage of semiconductor chips for automotive manufacturing has highlighted the need to reinvigorate advanced manufacturing here in the United States. We applaud the administration’s Executive Order that will review U.S. supply chains to identify ways to avoid future shortages of critical products and help grow our economy and America’s workforce.  We look forward to engaging with the Administration on this review.”
