Autos Drive America Reacts to President Biden’s State of the Union Address

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Autos Drive America President and CEO Jennifer Safavian issued the following statement in response to the State of the Union Address:

“Tonight, President Biden laid out his domestic agenda that seeks to reinvigorate the economy and get Americans back to work. International automakers have operated in the U.S. for more than 60 years, produce nearly half of all vehicles made in the U.S., and directly employ 131,000 Americans.  International automakers are leading the post-pandemic recovery by providing good-paying jobs, workforce and career development opportunities, and major investments in local communities nationwide.

“Autos Drive America looks forward to working closely with the White House and Congress to ensure our members can continue investing in the American people. Together, we can move our nation forward – just as President Biden called on all of us to do tonight.”
