Autos Drive America Statement on Confirmation of Gina Raimondo as Secretary of Commerce

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congratulations to Governor Gina Raimondo on her confirmation as the new Secretary of Commerce. International automakers currently support nearly 2.5 million U.S. jobs and produce nearly half of all cars and trucks made in America each year. These vehicles are sold to customers here and abroad. As the Department of Commerce reviews tariffs and other trade policies, we look forward to working with Secretary Raimondo and her team to support the growth and success of the U.S. auto industry.
