“With President Biden in Michigan to promote the bipartisan infrastructure package that includes the historic investment into building out an electric vehicle (EV) charging network, we now need consumers to come and use them. The best way to do that is for the Build Back Better Act to offer all EVs equitable tax incentives to enable Americans to switch to green vehicles.  Today, 17 car companies, not just the Detroit three, offer over 50 EV sedan, truck, SUV, van, and crossover models in the United States.  It is time for Congress to be plugged in and offer consumers as many opportunities as possible to build their confidence in purchasing environmentally-friendly vehicles.”
