Autos Drive America Joins Coalition to Incentivize Domestic Semiconductor Production

Autos Drive America joined a coalition of semiconductor manufacturers and other industry groups asking the Biden administration to include funding to incentivize domestic production of semiconductors in the next stimulus bill. In a letter sent to President Joe Biden called for “robust funding” of programs enacted in this year’s NDAA designed to incentivize manufacturing in the U.S. after demand swings during the pandemic caused chip shortages.
