Toyota Innovation TILTS With COVID-19

Of course, none of the dozen or so team members who work in the lab at Toyota’s Manufacturing Projects Innovation Center in Georgetown, Kentucky, could have anticipated that the “this” would be engaging in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. By “tilting” conventional thinking on its axis the team quickly adapted the innovative makerspace to address the sudden demand for plastic face shields for healthcare workers treating those who’ve contracted the virus.
